From two yards over it wormed its way under the fences. I was away from the house, letting my birds roam around the yard like I have for years, and then i came home ...to yard full of feathers, five dead chickens, one beat-up old rooster and a miraculously unscathed young hen.

Mon, June 1, 2009 - 4:52 AMI am so sorry, that is awful. a couple of years ago i came home to find my dog had gotten off of her run, dug under the coop fence and wiped out all of my chickens, just for sport! FUCKER, if I had a gun at the time i probably would have shot her! She has killed a couple of my present flock, it makes me sooo mad, but it seems to be in her nature. She's an old girl but damn she's fast.
