who cleans it out and who lets it just 'disappear'

I have three cages I haven't needed to clean out in about four years. I free range during the day so I'm not sure if that helps the poopaye dry.. just curious about others..

    Chicken Tractor. Free-range birds.
    Move the 'tractor' 5 feet every couple of weeks.
    Let the old spot, age.
    Plant garden on it.
    Big Plants.

      Our chicken yard is pretty big and sandy. We lay down alfalfa straw fin the yard and the coops for the chickens to scratch in. Rake it up about every other week and put it to the compost.
