we're new to chickens, and just got our first chicks a couple of days ago. We got a buff orpington and a blue andalusian. i'm busy looking at pictures of coops so i can have it ready when they are ready to move out of the box they're in. we hope to get a couple more, to keep a flock of 3 or 4.

Wed, August 8, 2007 - 7:42 PMso, our chicks are now a couple of months old and looking more like small chickens. they are now making different sounds. one is very much like a songbird, and the other just sort of Peeeeeeeep-peeee-peep's. What age do they start to make "bok" sounds? -
