The Olympic Torch

I know this site is about animals, but don't you think this olympic torch thing is weird. There are all these protestors about Tibet (rightly so) trying to get the torch, and china has sent all these security guards (dressed in blue like smurfs) to stop anyone getting to the torch. What was everyone (international community) thinking of when they gave China the olympic games???

    and didn't the torch go missing today??? at least the news reported it which could be complete propaganda

      I personally think that if anyone wants to disrupt the torch relay in the name of peace they are offensive.The torch is for the past and present Olympians and protest should be a Ghandi like protest, not against the athletes past and present of any country.
