It will be interesting to see what they end up looking like, since the donor hens are Lakenvelders and the rooster is a black Silkie. Thank you, Lisa, for helping me identify them. It's all I can do to resist going in to look at them every five minutes! Oh, kind of a little funny thing, only one of them has the double-toe Silkie thing on only one foot... at least I have some way to tell them apart.
