Selling chickens and making friends

Thought I'd share this with ya'll. We sold a few of our laying hens and a run of chicks today to some really nice people. The coolest thing about it was being able to meet a couple who are as serious about self sustainment as we are. We traded tricks and feed recipes discussed my water collection system and canning secrets etc..in general it was a great afternoon. I told them about this tribe. So hopefully they'll pop in.

    OH, that would be so cool! I hope you kept their number, I love people with like minds. Helps with brainstorming or even when you get so frustrated you can bounce ideas and not feel that "this isn't going to work" feeling.
